So here we go:
To summarise it: It was a really, really great weekend although it was very sad, too. And it was fucking freezing cold.

I had four last shows and enjoyed them a lot.
During the Saturday show Drew had the funniest mishap ever. It was after „Im Moment wenn ich Dich sah“. Mary: „Kann ich Dir ein Geheimnis anvertrauen?“ - Rudolf „Ja“. Drewdolf took a gulp from his „medicine bottle“ when suddenly something from the bottle landed on the floor. Drew looking to the water on the floor and back to the bottle suddenly said: „Es lebt!“(It's alive) and the complete audience started to break out in laughter and spent a big applause for that.

Drew was standing on stage and couldn‘t resist to grin either. It was really too funny and I couldn‘t stop laughing for the rest of the first act like almost all the other people couldn‘t.
The derniere was a mix of very funny and veeeery sad. The first act was very funny. The cast changed a lot of scenes. Not everything was suitable in my opinion (for example the corpse didn‘t want to let loose of the gun at the beginning) but all in all it was quite entertaining. Carin changed her text at the end of „Ein Hübscher Krieg“ to „It was an honour for me to shop here.“ and after Uwe‘s „Strahlende Zukunft“ we had a real mishap as the revolving stage didn‘t work any more. First, we all thought it was on purpose that Uwe remains on stage - a trick played by his colleagues - and you could see that Uwe was of the same opinion. He racked his brains how to get out of this and only as the curtain came down we all realised that it was not a gag but a real mishap.

Nearly no changes during the second act but there are not too many opportunities to do so and I was very happy for that. Touched - as always - a lot of tears stole themselves their way down my cheeks - especially as Drewdolf started to read the farewell letter and I realised that *this is the point of no return*.
The last applause was wonderful. The whole theatre standing and clapping. An ocean of flowers on stage. Plush hearts for the cast. Drew got a little teddy bear, Wietske was crying and Carin was moved, too. Drew bowed and kneeled before his colleagues. It was so touching. And then the final curtain went down…
So, all in all it was a very great time. And to celebrate that time or the new time coming Drew decided to cut his hair right after the show. They are veeeeery short now!
On a personal note: Has anyone by chance been in one of the following shows last year?
April 17, 2009; September 18, 2009 and October 17, 2009
