 Rules For All MembersThese rules might look familiar to all of you, since they come from amandrella.com. We hold the same respect for Drew that we do for Ann, so we ask that you adhere to them, and work together to create a harmonious atmosphere on the board: -Unauthorized photographs of Drew will not be allowed. This rule applies to photographs taken outside of the actors' public lives, especially those without their knowledge or consent. -Absolutely no photographs of the actors' family members will be allowed. If they are not actors, they are not public figures, and their privacy should be protected accordingly. -Disrespectful discussions of Drew or any other actor will not be allowed. -The actors' private information will not be disclosed at any time. -Fighting among board members will not be allowed on the forums. If you have a personal disagreement, we request that you handle it in Private Messaging. - No spam. This rule applies to the board and to private messaging. If we receive complaints about members spamming other members' inboxes, we will ban/suspend the spammer. - No requesting nor dicussion of trading/buying bootlegs. They exist, and we can discuss content, but not trades. I have to add something to the general rules. This is not an actual rule, but a suggestion. B/c companies and hackers love to send bots to spam the boards and open up bogus accounts, I regularly have the job of deleting said accounts. When you register as a member of the DSB, your account will be on hold until I approve it. I go through each new account, and remove it if I think it's a bot. This is why it is important that you put something in your profile to let me know that you are a real person. Any simple phrase will do. For instance, you can list Drew's name or your favorite songs/books under the "interests" section. I don't want to violate your privacy, so I don't require last names, or myspace links or anything of that sort. I just need a hint to tell me that your account is valid, to be approved.
A lot of our members do not post, and I don't require that, since I was a lurker myself, once upon a time. If you feel more comfortable getting in touch with me privately, you can do it through PMing, MySpace, or e-mail, all of which can be found in the contact section of the board, though I will re-post them here. Believe me, some members of this board have friended me on MySpace or contacted me via e-mail, and I have absolutely no problem if that's what makes you feel comfortable. If your account is accidentally deleted, please don't take it as an insult. I probably thought you were a bot/spammer b/c I saw no information in your profile. Simply contact me, and I will help you re-register. Re: Rules For All Members Guys, I urge you to re-read my last post on this thread. If you have friends who want to register on the board, please tell them to fill out the information fields with a hint that they are humans, and not spammy robots. They can tell me their favorite movies, or favorite musicals, or hobbies, anything that lets me know that they are real people. I get dozens and dozens of fake accounts every week, and I have to sort through all of them trying to find the real people in the midst of all the bots.
If you registered to join this board, and you weren't appoved right away, or if your registration account was deleted, it wasn't because I dislike you or because I don't want you to join. It was because I mistook you for a bot. Please get in touch with me and I will approve your account right away. I'm sorry for the delays.
